Kristen Corbin Memorial Scholarship

Established by her family and friends, the Kristen Corbin Memorial Scholarship provides assistance to graduating Andrews High School seniors who participate in athletics. A dedicated student and star athlete, Kristen lettered in cross country, softball, and track and excelled in her first love, basketball. She was active in her church youth group and her community. Selection is based on the following criteria:
• U.S. citizenship,
• good character,
• financial need,
• academic capacity and commitment to succeed in a college environment.
This is a one-time scholarship.

  1. To be considered for the Kristen Corbin Memorial Scholarship, submit a short essay not to exceed 500 words explaining what you have learned from participating in high school athletics. If you choose to participate in college athletics, include how that knowledge will benefit you in college both academically and athletically. Please do not include your name or your family members' names in your essay.
